LEVC TX Taxi :: Shared Description

LEVC TX is a purposed made taxi used as a London 'black cab'.

Introduced in 2018 the vehicle is a Hybrid petrol-electric car made in Ansty near Coventry by LEVC (London EV Company) who are owned by Chinese company Geely.

In January 2018 all new cabs had to be zero-emissions capable. The LEVC TX is said capable of over 70miles on electric power only, with a 1.5litre petrol engine to generate power when the electric runs out.

The taxi has 6 passenger seats, wifi, charging points, and ramp facilities for wheel chair access.
