Moonlight becomes Wiston

No choice really, squeezing the last daylight hours out of our holiday. 'The Buildings of Wales: Pembrokeshire' (Lloyd, T.; Orbach, J.; and Scourfield, R. pp495/6: New Haven; Yale University Press; 2004) describes Wiston as "a deeply rural village that nevertheless played an important part in the Norman conquest of Pembrokeshire" It was set up a borough in 1152 by Wizo Chief of the Flemings. It has the best example of a Motte and Bailey castle in South-West Wales; and a delightful parish church entered via an avenue of lime trees. There is also a National School building dating from 1859, a Manor House and a Calvinistic Methodist Chapel.
