A good church is hard to find

We wanted to find St Dogwells; the SatNav was playing up and so we got out the trusty OS Map and compass. We didn't expect to find it open and it wasn't but here the most historic artefacts are outside rather than inside. 'The Buildings of Wales: Pembrokeshire' (Lloyd, T.,Orbach, J and Scourfield, R. pp263-267; New Haven: Yale University Press, 2004) tells us that there is an inscribed stone and an ogtene in the churchyard which we duly found. Exciting times!
