High Tide in Short Wellies

"High Tide in Short Wellies" is a sculpture by Ray Lonsdale, a former steel fabricator from County Durham. It depicts an angler, stands 3.6m high and is made from weathering steel. After a local competition the angler was given the name "Finlay". The statue was presented to the town on 9 February 2012 by Maureen Robinson.

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
