Shared description

Park Tunnel, Nottingham

This 125m long tunnel was constructed 1844-1855 to connect the Park Estate with Derby Road. It was originally intended for carriages, but is partly blocked up and now only passable by pedestrians. Listed grade II (list entry 1059025).
