Closure of Belle Vue Park due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Belle Vue Park, together with all other parks in Newport, was closed on 24th March 2020 by Newport Council.
The council website stated:
“Coronavirus COVID-19: all of Newport's gated parks and play areas are now closed to pedestrians and vehicles to help ensure social distancing guidelines are followed.”
For one of my allowable daily walks, I walked around the perimeter of the park on 15th April.
