The 11th college at the University of York, named after Ugandan human rights defender and gay rights activist, David Kato. The college is located at the western side of Heslington East with construction commencing during 2020. The college opened in September 2022 and consists of 9 accommodation blocks (A-J, excluding E) and the nucleus building (block E).
