The Mull of Galloway Lighthouse
The Mull of Galloway lighthouse is positioned at the southernmost point of the Mull (the southernmost point of Scotland). It was built in 1830 by engineer Robert Stevenson. The tower is 26m high and the light is 99m above sea level with a range of over 5okm). It now operates automatically. Both the lighthouse and keepers' houses are designated as Category A listed buildings.
