Cumbria Easter Rally 2022

Formerly known as 'Kirkby Stephen & Brough Classic Commercial Vehicle Rally' (last held in 2019 before two years of cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic). The 2022 event was the 22nd rally held in the Eden Valley in Cumbria, and the first with a new organising team. On the weekend of 16 and 17 April, many classic vehicles could be noted around the local roads and on show at various sites in the villages. A free bus service connecting Brough, Winton and Kirkby Stephen was offered, giving the visitor an opportunity to sample some historic passenger service vehicle delights! New for 2022 was a route extension beyond the Kirkby Stephen west station to the Fat Lamb Country Inn near Ravenstonedale. The weekend as graced with glorious weather, with beautiful sunshine after early morning mist and pleasant temperatures.

A road run leaving Brough at 1630 hrs on the Saturday afternoon saw vehicles taking a challenging route of approximately 25 miles via Kirkby Stephen, Great Asby and Soulby.
