Little Amal comes to Leeds
'Little Amal' is a 3.5m high puppet by the creators of the Warhorse. Operated by one person inside and two people outside, she represents a Syrian refugee child in particular. The puppet has visited cities across Europe from Turkey and Ukraine to the UK since July 2021, to raise awareness of child refugees around the world in general. She visited Bradford and Leeds on 20 June 2022 towards the end of her European journey before heading to the USA in September. Website: Link
