Shared description
Church of St Lawrence, Pudsey
An Anglican parish church built c.1821, architect Thomas Taylor, in the Georgian style of the time. It replaced the earlier chapel of All Saints (on the site no occupied by the town's war memorial). It was reordered in 1877 but without removing the galleries as so often happened with later Victorian work. Listed grade II (list entry 1213930). The parish name is Pudsey St Lawrence and St Paul, referencing the church off Richardshaw Lane that closed in the 1980s.
