The Three Pigeons, Halifax

Described by CAMRA as ‘a marvellous little Thirties survival which combines Art Deco internal styling with one of the best and most interesting examples of the Northern stand-up drinking lobby’. Built in 1932 by architects Jackson and Fox (who also built the nearby Royal Oak around the same time but in a very different style) for local brewery Webster’s, and now Grade II listed (list entry 1393725).

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
