Church of St Thomas the Apostle, Claremount
A parish church of 1857-61 by Mallinson & Healey on the outskirts of Halifax and overlooking the town centre. It was originally called St Thomas, Charlestown, but the alternative name Claremount is how it came to be known. It was re-ordered in the late 20th century but formally closed in 2019 and its parish merged back into the parish of Halifax.
