Devonport Park

The park covers 18 hectares on a hill to the east of the naval dockyard. It was initially laid out in 1858/59 on land belonging to the War Department, but was not substantially complete until 1874, with later additions. It is now owned by the local authority. Listed grade II; the list entry (1001657) goes into great detail.

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.
