The Olde Black Boy, Hull

The historic core of this pub is set back from the High Street, and dates from c.1700. It had been used by a tobacco dealer and later a wine merchant. The present street frontage dates from 1926 when the building was refitted as a pub for T Lindsey & Co. Later it became a Tetley pub and was the only one in East Yorkshire in their 'heritage pub' scheme. It is now statutorily listed grade II (list entry 1389398) and on CAMRA's national list of heritage pub interiors.

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
