Bradford Adolphus Street Station

Bradford Adolphus Street Station was built as the terminus of Halifax Junction Railway in 1854. It closed to passengers in 1867 when it was replaced by Bradford Exchange Station in the city centre. It remained in use for goods traffic until 1972. The station was demolished and its site is now occupied by St. James's wholesale market and the northern end of Wakefield Road (A650). The only visible remains are an access ramp, parts of the side wall and parts of the coal depot, all along Dryden Street.
