Following a well established tradition of painted identical castings of some person or animal forming an art trail around a city centre, in 2024 it was Cambridge's turn to host 31 giraffes for ten weeks. The trail was run by Break, 'a charity working in Cambridgeshire to raise aspirations of the county's young care leavers'.
