Immediately outside the church on the southern side next to the path from the gates is a pre-conquest cross-head which is separately Grade II listed: Link

The lofty tower (At 92'(28m) the second tallest in Cornwall) which is a landmark for miles around contains the heaviest peel of six bells in the world - see details below:
