Shared description
The White Bridge
This is an old established bridge in Grantham, once the location of a watermill on the upstream side and shown on the OS map for 1887. The mill was known as Slate Mill, a name that is still used for residential properties to the west of the river, and for a while Wyndham Park, on the east, was know as Slate Mill Park.
