William Alfred Gelder (1855-1941) Wikipedia:Link
established an architectural practice in 1878. In 1892 he formed an association with Llewellyn Kitchen (1869-1948) Mills Archive Trust: Link and set up the firm of Gelder & Kitchen, in which he was the senior partner. In recognition of Gelder's contributions to the transformation of Kingston upon Hull, the new road through the city centre was named Alfred Gelder Street. Gelder and Kitchen LLP (2006-2021) was dissolved 5 November 2021.
