It is one of the four remaining former dock warehouses on the town docks’ estate, the others being:
• Warehouse No. 6, Prince’s Dock
• Warehouse No. 8, former Queen’s Dock, now fronting Guildhall Road: The Hooper Building, a state-of-the-art, eco-friendly building, refurbished and re-opened in October 2007
• Warehouse No. 9, former Queen’s Dock, now fronting Guildhall Road: formerly Hull Business Centre, which has been operated by the City Council since the 1980s
