Beverley Road Conservation Area, Kingston upon Hull
Beverley Road Conservation Area is a domestic and commercial suburb of the city that was developed by speculative developers between circa 1820 and 1910. The Conservation Area extends the length of Beverley Road from the junction with Norfolk Street, at its southern end, to the junction with Beech Grove, at its northern. Whilst predominantly a linear conservation area, it also includes areas of adjoining streets, viz.: College Street, Elm Terrace, Somerscales Street, Strand Close (school only) and Trafalgar Street, and sub-zones of areas of Victorian housing, including Beech Grove, Eldon Grove and Streathern Street. The Conservation Area also includes a small number of back of plot buildings along Hudson Street and Grosvenor Street, which run parallel to Beverley Road.
