Shared description
Scott Street Bridge, Kingston upon Hull
The foundation stone for Scott Street Bridge was laid 3 October 1901. The bridge was opened on 3 October 1902. It was decommissioned on safety grounds in 1994, and remained in the open position, allowing river traffic to pass without hindrance. The bridge was considered uneconomical to repair and was demolished in September 2020. The support structure remains in situ. Former Grade II Listed Building Link
