Millwall Park

Millwall Park offers facilities, including football pitches, cricket, bowls, play areas (toddlers, juniors and older children), a play centre for under 5s and changing rooms.
There are paths for strolling, seats, trees, meadows and planting for biodiversity and scenic value. The park represents the heritage of the former docks and shipping industries with the now disused railway viaduct and the former ropewalk, all within view of Canary Wharf.
This former docklands site complements the formal, riverside Island Gardens. It provides for sports and play as well as space to get away from the crowds and to see the sky. The site is linked to the Mudchute Urban Park and Farm. With Island Gardens, the three parks offer a variety of scenic interest and considerable wildlife value

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
