Parlington estate

The former seat of the Gascoigne family until c.1900, this large estate between Garforth and Aberford is now commercially owned. Most of Parlington Hall was demolished during the 20th century but there are still working farms and houses within the estate, as well as commercial woodland. Apart from a few public rights of way, the rest of the estate remains firmly out of bounds, with many signs warning against trespass. It was listed as a grade II 'park' in 2017 (list entry 1447854) and there are a number of separately listed structures, as described within that entry.
