The original Balloch Castle :: Shared Description

See LinkExternal link (at WoSAS) for the archaeological details. From as early as 1238, some charters by the Earls of Lennox were made at Balloch, indicating that they had a residence here; see, for example, the charter by Earl Maldowen, enacted at "Belach", that is given on pages 160161 of the "Registrum Monasterii de Passelet" (Maitland Club Edition, 1832), and which also appears on pages 1213 of the "Cartularium de Levenax" (Maitland Club Edition, 1833).

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images. For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
