Hungerford and Golden Jubilee Bridges

The first bridge built here was a suspension bridge built by I.K. Brunel. In 1864 it was replaced by the present bridge built by Sir John Hawksworth. This allowed train access to the newly built Charing Cross Station. The two footbridges were added in 2002 to commemorate the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
