Hoar frost in Belle Vue Park.

On the nights of the 5th and 6th of December 2010 the temperature fell as low as -7ºC in the area and it did not rise above zero during the day. The result was a heavy deposit of hoar frost. Freezing fog also occurred at times, and so with evidence of slightly increased deposits on the windward side of some of the more exposed trees and other surfaces, I suspect that there were also some deposits of rime.

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
