Pevensey Levels
Pevensey Levels are an area of reclaimed marshland of over 3,500ha between Eastbourne and Bexhill. Historically it is the landing site of William The Conqueror in 1066. Most of the area is a SSSI. Economically the area is used for grazing, mainly sheep.
