Mytchett Lake

Mytchett Lake is a small lake utilised during the building of the Basingstoke Canal. The Canal flows along the edge of the lake and is only separated from it by a small fence. The lake was originally a dry depression that was flooded to provide a head of water for the canal. The Lake has abundant flora and fauna.
