Aireyholme Farm
The boyhood home of Capt. James Cook RN. Although I say it was the boyhood home of Captain James Cook it is now thought that the Cook cottage was actually further up Cliff Rigg, near to some pine trees in the south western corner of the field behind the present farm (NZ576114).
