Shared description
Target Hill Local Nature Reserve
Target Hill is adjacent to Buchan Country Park. This site, formerly a refuse tip, is a large area of grassland, scrub and birch woodland on a hill top site. The steep east and west slopes and the terraced north slope are covered in developing scrub and young woodland. The site is managed as a Local Nature Reserve with the assistance of the Gatwick GreenSpace Partnership.
