Morton Manor
Grade II Listed manor house. The first house on the site was built by Thomas de Aula in 1249. The Original part of the existing house probably dates from around 1540 on earlier foundations. It was much restored about 1890. The 'T' shape wing to the front is of circa 1680 date with 2 early 19th century projections at the rear, one of which was a gun room. It was refurbished and extended in the early 20th century in an Arts and Crafts style.
