East Greenwich Community Festival

During the weekend of 4/5 August 2012 in the middle of the Olympic Games, the community in East Greenwich made up for the loss of access to nearby Greenwich Park by staging a festival of its own in the Pleasaunce (a former burial ground, now a public park). There were stages for artistic performances for adults and children respectively, sports and games, refreshments, and stalls run by a variety of local charities, faith groups and small businesses.

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
