St Eanswith's church, Brenzett
Dates from the late 11th Century, with 13th and 14th century additions. Restored in 19th century and also 1902 and 1984.
The nave is late 11th or 12th century and was extended to the west in the 14th century. The chancel is also late 11th or 12th century, rebuilt in 1902. There is a 12th C. north aisle with dormer window in the roof and a north Lady Chapel which contains the memorial to John Fagge.
At the west end there is a large wooden frame which supports a small turret with a shingled spirelet built in the 14th century. This was quite out of true when it was rebuilt in 1902. The south porch is 15th century.
Like many churches on Romney Marsh, there is very little stained-glass.
