The Ossulston Estate NW1

The area between Ossulston Street and Chalton Street is characterised by large-scale public housing complexes, together forming the Ossulston Estate LinkExternal link
It was designed and built by the London County Council between 1927 and 1931 on the site of the Somers Town slum between St Pancras and Euston railway stations. It was unusual at the time both in its inner-city location, its modernist design, and the features provided for residents; all the original parts of the estate are now Grade II listed buildings.

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
