Shared description
Queen's Park, Bolton
When it was first opened. in 1866, the park was called Bolton Park; it was renamed as Queen’s Park in 1897 in recognition of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. The park has recently been refurbished with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
