The Pumphouse Museum & Lavender Nature Park

The Pumphouse Educational Museum is a unique venue on the Rotherhithe peninsula. It houses the Rotherhithe Heritage Museum and a variety of historical exhibitions and in addition offers further educational opportunities in the environmental study centre using the Lavender Pond and Nature Park.
The pumphouse itself was built in 1929 to regulate the water level in the dock system and sits by Lavender Pond and Nature Park. Lavender Pond is the remains of part of the Surrey Commercial Docks.

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
